I've always been interested in 'escapist' communities like furry, kemonomimi, therians, VRChat, cosplay, hobby horsers, and most relevant to this page, emotional support stuffed animals (ESSA). The community is mostly neurodivergent kids sharing their day-to-day with ESSA. I carried around stuffed animals for comfort late into my teenage years, and I still love stuffed animals.
